THOM THE WORLD POET: The Daily Poem

"Thom the World poet, is an old mate of mine from way back in my history. Even pre-dating Voiceprint, when I was running "Otter Songs" and Tom's poetry tapes and guest appearences with Daevid Allen, Gilli Smyth, Mother Gong are well known and highly regarded. It just felt right to include a daily poem from Thom on our Gonzo blog and when I approached him to do so, he replied with in seconds!!! Thom is a great talent and just wants to spread poetry, light and positive energy across the globe. now body must speak in sign and symbol,slow and steady

learn new terms-aphasia,dysnomia, hamartomas,occipital stress

Odysseus gave us our "Penelope Condition"where unlearning follows learning

Neurobiology gave us DEPAKOTE,to partially relieve symptoms

Outside ,we seek to love those locked inside without language bridges

Words have been our only bridges.Now they are down,and image on a screen

is of cortical networks undergoing intractable stress.Autistic stereotypy means us.

We love yet cannot reach.It is not a failure of poetry,nor science

Even eidetic memories fail to connect.Love means more than language
