It's not quite as simple as that, though. Rob has been a fan of the band for ages. I know this because he has been proselytising about them to me with the fervour of a fundamentalist preacher. He first saw Florence on the NME tour where she was third on the bill at Brixton, Academy - then did a photo shoot with her at
Hammersmith 2 years ago (see the lower pic).He banged on about her track "Dogs Days Are Over" (one of his favourite songs of all time) so much that I ended up checking it out for myself. And I have to admit that it is pretty bloody good.
My son-in-law Gavin also is a big fan of the band, so - gentlemen - this is for both of you....
