ROB AYLING: When a big cheese and a special Fish meet in Leamington Spa you are guaranteed a musical feast

There is a  smell of cheese is coming from Leamington Spa this weekend. No it not someone's sweat socks - it is Gonzos very own Fromage Grande, who is at the Fish convention for the weekend.

Fish and Rob Ayling go way back. Fish is even one of Hunters God Fathers.

Lots of fun had during the day on Saturday. Rob, bumped into airbrush supreme Mark Wilkinson and comic Will Smith.

Tonight Fish played a full electric set. Its always good to see him rock out.

Playing at his own convention finds him in effect playing on home turf so he can be in the words of Robert Plant "Tight but Loose".

He played such classics as;-

Grendel.
Credo.
Vigil in a Wilderness of Mirrors.
Mr 1470.

Plus he played some new tracks from the forthcoming album "Feast of Consequences".

A great night was had by all.

Sunday promises to be great fun with the screening of Electric Man for the first time to the fans followed by a Q and A between the Fish, David Barras (the Director) and Scott MacKay (the writer). Gonzo, is proud to be distributing the DVD and has managed to get hold of some of the Special Editions for sale off the website. (Plug - Plug)

Fish will be doing two sets; an acoustic and electric.

That's it from our man on the ground (well in the balcony) at the Assembly Rooms, Leamington Spa.
