Yesterday was my 53rd birthday, and I was overwhelmed by the sheer volume of good wishes that arrived on my Facebook page and in my email inbox. I didn't realise how many people read the Gonzo Daily and the other things that I edit, every day, so much that we have become part of their lives.I feel very humble. Thank you my friends.
I will only single out one message - not because the writer, Michael Des Barres, is any more or less important to me than any of the rest of you all, but because he said in one sentance, what I have been trying to say in tens of thousands of words for years.
